Killeen, TEXAS—The Human Resources Department at Texas A&M University-Central Texas recently held their 1st annual Service Awards Luncheon honoring employees who have dedicated 5 and 10 years of service to the university.
Founded in 1999 as a Tarleton State University System Center in Killeen, the university became A&M-Central Texas on May 27, 2009 and employees’ tenure transitioned with the change. Each award recipient received a certificate recognizing either 5 or 10 years of service and a special commemorative gift.
Prior to the award ceremony, Dr. Marc Nigliazzo, Inaugural President of A&M-Central Texas, addressed those being honored and their guests.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude for your guidance and dedication to our students, community members, and colleagues,” said Dr. Nigliazzo. “Your contributions of 5 and 10 years of service to this institution will certainly leave a monumental mark in building a foundation for future Warriors to come.”
